Caramelised Onion Sausages

Ingredients

  • Homepride Sticky Caramelised Onion BBQ Sauce 200g TODAY ONLY 25p (RRP £1.00)
  • Sausages (Approved Food Meat for a week hamper, £15.00

Method

Prepare your BBQ. Coat the sausages in the sauce. When the BBQ is hot, cook the sausages for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Serve as part of a BBQ.

Kebabs

Ingredients

  • Mincemeat, chicken or pork (Approved Food Meat for a Week Hamper, £15.00)
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Handful of parsley
  • 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp cumin (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Red and yellow pepper
  • Onion
  • Baby tomato
  • Pineapple (optional)
  • Skewers

Method

Prepare the barbecue. Place the mincemeat, chicken cubes or pork cubes into a bowl. Add the other ingredients and mix with a spoon or your hands till everything is combined. Cover the mixture with clinique film for 30 minutes and place in a fridge. Chop up the pepper and onion. If using mincemeat take a small amount of the mixture and form a ball. Skewer the meat, veg and fruit if using. Spray the BBQ or the meat with the oil and place onto the barbecue. Cook the kebabs for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Make sure they do not stick to the barbecue or dry out. Serve warm with your favorite sauce.
