Beer Burger

Travel to America with this beer burger recipe using products sold at Approved Food.

Ingredients:

  • Beef burger (Approved Food meat hamper £15) Check it out here: meathamper
  • 1 Onion
  • 177 ml Beer (Check out our selection of beer)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 4 Cheese slices
  • Tomatoes and salad (sliced)

Method:

Melt the butter in a frying pan. Add the onions and cook on medium heat till soft and tender. Add 177ml beer and the sugar. Cook for 15 minutes or until the beer is absorbed. Leave to cool. Add the burgers to the frying pan and cook by turning them every few minutes till brown and fully cooked inside. Slice the cheese and add a slice to the top of each burger. Heat till the cheese is slightly melted. Slice the burger bun add a burger followed by sliced tomatoes and salad and top with the beer onion sauce. Make sure the food is piping hot before serving. *Leftover burgers can be frozen but make sure it is fully cooled beforehand *.
