Dan’s Veggie Pizza

Travel to Naples, Italy with this veggie pizza recipe using Approved Food products.

Ingredients:

  • Pizza base (Napolina 2 Large Pizza bases 300g, £0.99 each, RRP £1.70)
  • Tomato topping (Princess pizza toppig 800g, £0.99 each, RRP £2.00)
  • Vegetables: mushroom, red pepper, tomatoes, courgette, onions, sweetcorn or olives etc (chopped thinly)
  • Your choice of cheese: feta, mozzarella (chopped), cheddar (grated)
  • Basal/ Parsley (optional)

Method:

Preheat the oven to 240°C/ 220°C fan/ gas mark 8. Tear off some foil to fit your baking tray, rub with oil and dust with flour and place the pizza base on top. Now it’s time to add the toppings. Spread the princess pizza topping onto the pizza base all the way to the edges. Scatter the chopped vegetables evenly on top and scatter the cheese of your choice. Place on the middle tray in the oven and cook for 10-15 minutes or until fully cooked. Once cooked scatter the pizza with basal or parsley leaves before serving.
