Pork Noodle Stir-fry

Try this pork noodle stir-fry recipe with pineapple and veg using products sold at Approved Food.

Ingredients:

  • Stir-fry sauce (Celebrate Health Chinese Beef Stir-fry Recipe Base 175g 2 for £1.00 or £0.59 each, RRP £1.99)
  • Pork strips (Approved Food meat for a week hamper £15)
  • Pineapple  (Princes Pineapple Pieces in light syrup 565g 2 for £1.50, RRP £1.00)
  • Noodles (Sharwoods Thick udon noodles 300g 2 for £1.50 or £0.89 each, RRP £1.80)
  • Veg: 1 red pepper, 2 spring onion, broccoli or carrots (chopped)

Method:

Add some oil to a frying pan and heat on medium heat. When hot add the pork strips. Cook until browned over but not fully cooked, 1 -2 minutes. Add the veg and further cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the Celebrate Health Chinese Beef Stirfry Recipe base sauce and diced pineapple and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. While the mixture cooks, cook the noodles as described on the packet. Add the noodles to the pork and veg sauce and mix till everything is coated or pour the pork mixture onto the plated noodles. Serve straight away. Make sure the food is piping hot before serving. *Leftover stir-fry mixture can be frozen but make sure it is fully cooled beforehand *.
