Bank Holiday Cocktails

Fancy some bank holiday cocktails? We have picked our favourite, check them out below

Iced Tea

  • 6 tea bags
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 10 sprigs of mint
  • 300ml fresh orange juice
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1⁄2 slice of orange, mint leaves and ice to serve

Make the tea with 1.2 liters of water and the sugar. Add the mint to the pot and infuse for 10 mins. Strain and cool. Pour into a jug, stir in the orange and lime juices and serve with orange slices, mint and plenty of ice.

Summer Vodka Punch

  • 125ml lemon juice
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 250ml elderflower liqueur or juice
  • 250ml Vodka
  • 500ml apple juice
  • 125ml sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Fresh summer herbs like lemon, mint and basil (optional)
  • Lemon slices (optional)

Mix the lemon juice and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Transfer to a large jug, add the other liquid ingredients, fill to the top with ice and stir. Serve with herbs and lemon slices.

Apple Prosecco Punch

  • 400ml cloudy apple juice
  • 200ml Vodka
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 750ml Prosecco
  • Ice
  • 1 green apple, cored and finely sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Pour the apple juice, vodka and lemon juice into a jug and chill for 1-2 hours. When you’re ready to serve add the prosecco, ice and apple and lemon slices to garnish.
