  • Lean Pork Loin Steaks 490g

  • Pork Sausages 450g
  • Beef Burgers 4x100g

Peri Peri Barbecue Chicken

  • Chicken (Approved Food Meat for a Week Hamper, £15.00)
  • Peri Peri sauce (Crucials Peri Peri Sauce 1L, £1.99, RRP £3.50) Peri_Peri_Sauce_ApprovedFood
  • Corn on the Cob
  • Butter

Prepare the barbecue. Coat the chicken with the Peri Peri sauce and leave to marinate for 30 minutes. Spray the barbecue or the meat with the oil and place the meat and corn on the cob onto the barbecue. Cook each rotating occasionally until the meat is fully cooked and the corn is slightly browned on the outside. Spread butter over the sweet corn and serve with the chicken straight away.

Sweet Chilli Barbecue Pork Chops 

Prepare the barbecue. Coat the pork with the sweet chilli sauce and leave to marinate for 30 minutes. Spray the barbecue or the meat with the oil and place onto the barbecue. Cook rotating occasionally until the pork is fully cooked. Serve straight away.

Burger Time!

Make a Burger King burger in the comfort of your home…

  • Burgers,4  (Approved Food Meat for a Week Hamper, £15.00)
  • Burger Buns, 4
  • Lettuce slices, 4
  • Cheese Slices, 4
  • 1 or 2 Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 Red onion, sliced
  • 8 Bacon slices (optional)
  • Sauces – ketchup, mayonnaise,  mustard, gherkin relish (Gherkin_Relish_ApprovedFood)

Prepare the barbecue. Spray the barbecue or the burgers with a bit of oil and place onto the barbecue. Cook rotating occasionally until the burgers are cooked. If using bacon place the bacon onto the barbecue halfway through the burger cooking time and cook until crispy. While they cook chop up the lettuce, tomatoes and red onion. When the burgers are nearly done heat up the burger buns on the barbecue for a few seconds on each side.

Plate up: get a burger bun, add the lettuce, burger, cheese slice, tomatoes, red onion, bacon and lastly the sauces.

*The onions can also be cooked in a pot on the barbecue if you prefer cooked rather than raw onions. *

Beef-Burger

Mincemeat Barbecue Kebabs

  • Mincemeat (Approved Food Meat for a Week Hamper, £15.00)
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • Handful of parsley
  • 1 tsp Salt and 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp Cumin (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Skewers

Prepare the barbecue. Place the mincemeat into a bowl and break it up. Add the other ingredients and mix with a spoon or your hands till everything is combined. Cover the mixture with clinique film for 30 minutes and place into a fridge. Take a small amount of the mixture and roll into a cylinder shape. Skewer the meat and squeeze so it moulds onto the skewer. Spray the BBQ or the meat with the oil and place onto the barbecue. Cook the kebabs for 4-5 minutes on each side. Make sure they do not stick to the barbecue or dry out. Serve warm with your favourite sauce.

Barbecue Roasted Veggies

BBQ’s are not all about the meat, try this vegetarian barbecue option!

  • Courgette
  • Red, yellow and green peppers
  • Tomatoes
  • Corn on the cob
  • Mushroom
  • Onion

Prepare the barbecue. Cut up the veg into big chunks. Spray the veg with the BBQ veggie sauce and then a bit of oil and place onto the barbecue.  Cook the veg on the barbecue, rotating occasionally until they are cooked.

You can also chop the veg up and place onto a skewer to make a veggie kebab.
