Easter Rice Krispie Cakes

Easter is approaching, why not make some little Easter rice Krispie cakes with your kids. Easy to make and taste great.

Ingredients:

  • 100g Rice Krispies (Kellogg’s Rice Krispies 180g, £0.99 each RRP £1.00)
  • 150g Chocolate or Nutella
  • Cupcake cases
  • Mini eggs

Method:

Measure out the Rice Krispies and place into a bowl. Time to melt the chocolate, place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and heat over a pan of hot water. Make sure the bowl holding the chocolate does not touch the water. Stir constantly and make sure the chocolate does not overheat. Once the chocolate is melted add it to the Rice Krispies. You can also use Nutella, melt enough Nutella slightly in the microwave so it is soft. Stir the chocolate or Nutella until all the Rice Krispies are coated. Place the cupcake cases onto a baking tray and add the Rice Krispie mixture to each case. Add a mini egg to each and leave to set in the fridge.
