Burgers + wedges + Coleslaw

Bring America to your table with this burger, wedges and coleslaw recipe using a range of products sold at Approved Food.

Preheat the oven. to 200C/gas mark 6. Wash, peel and chop the potatoes into wedges. Bowl some salted water in a pan, when boiled add the cut potatoes. Part boil for about 10 minutes. Add oil to a frying pan over medium heat and add the burgers once the pan is hot.  Cook the burgers by turning them every few minutes till brown and fully cooked inside. When the potatoes are cooked, add them to a bowl and toss with some oil. Prepare a baking sheet with foil and place the potatoes evenly on top. Cook the potatoes for 30 minutes. Whilst the burgers and potatoes cook let’s make the coleslaw. Shred the cabbage and carrots as thin as possible. Place the cabbage, carrots, sultanas, mayonnaise and mustard into a bowl and mix well. Season with salt and pepper if required.

Serve the burgers with the potatoes wedges and coleslaw and your favourite sauce.  Make sure the food is piping hot before serving. *Leftover burgers can be frozen but make sure it is fully cooled beforehand *.
