Sweet Chilli Pork

Time to fire up your pork with the help of products sold at Approved Food.

Ingredients:

  • Pork Lion steaks (Approved Food meat for a week hamper £15)
  • Santa Maria Marinade Sweet Chilli 75g (£0.10 each RRP £1.00)
  • Vegetables – potatoes, carrots (or add your favourites)

Method:

Pre-heat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with foil and spray some oil onto the foil. In a bowl coat the pork steaks with the marinade sweet chilli and place them onto the baking tray. Cook for 10 minutes then turn over and cook for a further 10 minutes or until fully cooked through. While the pork cooks prepare the veggies. Chop the potatoes and carrots and boil in two separate pans in some salted water till soft but tender. Mash the potatoes with some milk and butter. Serve straight away. Make sure the food is piping hot before serving. *Leftover pork can be frozen but make sure it is fully cooled beforehand *.
